HELP THE CHILD TO HELP HIMSELF
Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality. A true world for a cause in the spirit of selfless service and not for applause. The investiture ceremony of Monte for the academic session 2019-20 was held with great pomp and dignity and they took official charge in their roles to set skill based goals in several areas in investiture ceremony.
Grandparents Day is a day dedicated by the MIS to acknowledge and celebrate the important contribution made by grandparents to the well-being and education of children within their family. It is an opportunity for us to show our gratitude and respect for the older generation and to honour grandparents.
November 14 is a day dedicated specially to children. MIS celebrates this day is in great spirit at school and organizes various programs such as plays, competitions, cultural events etc. Also, sweets, books, stationary and other gifts are distributed to children.
Flag hoisting ceremonies and cultural programs take place in the MIS campus.
Sports day for children in school has been proven to enhance mental and physical development, as well as social skills and even improvements in academic performance.
Children also learn how to cope in a competitive environment as well as learning all about winning and losing; these are important life skills to assimilate in preparation for the working environment. At sports day the MONTE students showcase their skills in the sports ground.
Science fairs allow students in elementary, middle and high schools to compete in science and technology activities and develop a scientific spirit and curiosity in a student which in turn forces them to think and creatively find solutions to the challenges. Students enjoy learning through such exhibition and feel a sense of belongingness as they make the models with their own hands.
Annual Day forms an integral part of our school activities. It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity when students present not only their wonderful performances but also receive honours for their curricular and co-curricular achievements. From dance performances to plays and musical events to speeches, the school annual day is one day that is eagerly anticipated by children and parents alike, every year. This is also a day when achievers are felicitated for their accomplishments in the academic year.
